A series of group departures to Türkiye can be one of the most reliable products in a tour operator’s programme: strong demand, a wide choice of routes and good value. It works when the ground handling is predictable from the first departure to the last. These are the points we settle with tour operators before a season starts.

Choose the route for your clients

The classic circuit of Istanbul, Cappadocia, Pamukkale and Ephesus in 8 to 15 days remains the best seller. Eastern Anatolia (Mount Nemrut, Göbeklitepe, Mardin, Lake Van) suits experienced travellers; Istanbul to Athens combines two countries; and the Antalya coast works for shorter departures with boat days and resort stays. Use domestic flights on the long legs, Istanbul to Cappadocia for example, to keep coach days reasonable.

Hotels: allotments and release dates

For a fixed series, we contract room allotments per departure with agreed release dates, after which unsold rooms go back to the hotel. Agree the hotel category, the location (central hotels in Istanbul save hours in traffic) and the policy for single rooms early. For private groups, rooms are confirmed per file.

Guides and coaches

Tour guides in Türkiye are licensed professionals. Decide the guide language for each departure and whether the same guide stays with the group throughout, which clients appreciate. Coach size follows group size, with a minimum and maximum agreed per departure.

Entrance fees and pricing

Entrance fees at the major museums and sites are now set in euros and are revised regularly, so check the fees in force for the season you are pricing. We price in euros, per person per departure for series and per file for private groups, which protects your margin from currency movements.

Seasons

April to June and September to October are the high seasons for touring; the coast runs from May to October; Istanbul and Cappadocia work all year, with Christmas and New Year as a short peak. Contract hotels for the next season in the autumn before.

Under your brand

Your clients travel with you. Programmes and documents carry your name, guides introduce your company, and we never contact your clients directly.
